Mathematical Oncology

The most successful approaches to cancer care begin with the fundamentals. Mathematical modelling and statistical techniques can help us understand and predict interactions of cancer cells with, for example, drug delivery, radiation damage, and immune response. Mathematical oncology aims to create a solid foundation for CATCR in the basic sciences of cancer treatment, before translation to pre-clinical and clinical trials, to improve the overall success rate of novel techniques making it to clinical translation.
